My first AG was AGT#16, my fiance bought her for me Christmas 2002. The doll had that gray-green looking skin though and didn't look like they do in the catalog so he called and exchanged it for a Samantha instead, so I guess technically Samantha was my first AG. My fiance tried to choose a doll that looked like me hence the AGT#16, even though I am asian the asian one looks nothing like me. But I have since been able to get a pre-Mattel AGT#16 and she is absolutely beautiful, she is now our favorite doll.
